Composer, Musician, Singer, Songwriter
I have been writing, recording and performing my own music for over ten years. The way songs can make people feel, think and behave has always intrigued me, and this fascination has led me into the field of community music.
After volunteering with various community arts organisations I enrolled on the world-renowned Music Workshop Skills course at Goldsmiths University in London. My studies included many community music elements, including: music workshops in primary schools, music making with early years classes and working as assistant music workshop leader for adults with disabilities.
Since graduating in 2013, I’ve worked primarily with seniors in Brighton & Hove as well as people living with dementia and their carers, delivering singing sessions with a key focus on reminiscence.
I also run a comunity choir in Hanover, where I teach a variety of well-known pop songs, alongside songs from different cultures. In addition, I run one-off songwriting workshops for adults.
